1 check on Program and features if your display drivers are listed and uninstall. 2) go to Device manager, click on display adatpers, right click on your Radeon and choose uninstall. Then reboot and see if the black screen issue is solved, then re-install AMD VGA drivers. I'm not an Acer employee. Thelaptop turns normally but the problem comes with the screen. Sometimes the screen will just work fine all day long, I will turn the computer on and of with no issues but other times the computer will turn on while the screen remains absolutely black. Or connect an external VGA monitor to the VGA port. You may have to press the Fn + F5 or F6 keys simultaneously to toggle the external screens on and off.
